Neighbourhood and access

Yamayakyo sits on a quiet residential back street in Tengachaya Higashi, in Nishinari Ward, Osaka. The Hankai Tramway stop at Matsudacho is a 2-minute walk away and the supermarket 8 minutes. Four minutes away are a yakiniku restaurant, sushi, ramen, a sento and takoyaki; within 5 minutes there is a 7-Eleven and a Lawson; and 6 minutes brings you to a drugstore, a 100-yen shop, a cafe and a McDonald's. The main station for getting into town is Tengachaya (Nankai Railway and Osaka Metro), about a 9-minute walk, two stops by train to Namba, and it also has a direct line to Kansai Airport. By car: Shinsekai Tsutenkaku is about 3 minutes, Namba and Dotonbori about 4, Nipponbashi and Tennoji Zoo about 6, Shinsaibashi about 12, Universal Studios Japan about 30, and Kyoto about 50. Only one group stays in the house at a time, so you are never sharing it with anyone else, and it comes with its own free parking space.

Came to Osaka with friends and this place was fantastic! The whole house is spacious, three floors, so everyone had their own space and it never felt crowded. What I loved most was the location: shopping nearby is easy and the station is not far. Fully equipped, it felt just like home. Very clean, comfy beds. For Osaka, this space, location and price are excellent, especially for a group. We would happily stay here again next time 👍

Wonderful house 👍 Three floors easily sleep 8. Clean, comfortable, great beds. My two kids are very sensitive to dust mites but had no reaction at all here, proof of how thoroughly it is cleaned! Plenty of towels and toiletries, plus a microwave, washing machine and cookware, so cooking a simple meal or doing laundry is easy. Supermarket nearby, Tengachaya station within walking distance, and the price is very reasonable ❤️

Really feels like home. The interior is brand new in a MUJI-style aesthetic, with a Japanese tatami room on the first floor. The living room and bathroom are indescribably beautiful. Our family of three stayed during a special promotion and it was incredible value. Strongly recommend!
