Umeminami, Nishinari Ward, Osaka, around Hanazonocho Station (compiled 2026-09-28; availability and rates follow the live quote on each booking page)
If you want to be near Namba and rent a whole house for your own group, Hanazonocho Station is good value. On the Osaka Metro Yotsubashi Line, Hanazonocho (Y17) and Namba (Y15) are separated by a single stop, Daikokucho. 7mori has two houses at this station: Laforet Namba South is a 1 minute walk, La Forêt Hanazonocho 6 minutes. Both are rented as whole houses, so you never share with strangers. Namba South sleeps 4 to 12, Hanazonocho 2 to 12. Both addresses are in Umeminami, Nishinari Ward, Osaka.
Most of what you find around Namba Station is hotel rooms, and 4 people is about the limit for one room. Groups of 10 or more usually end up splitting the booking, and once it is split across three or four rooms the adults and the children do not always end up together. Hanazonocho is one stop away, but the house is yours alone, with a kitchen, a washer-dryer and a bathtub. After an evening in Dotonbori, the metro ride back takes about as long as walking from Namba to a hotel.
Rates also sit well below the city centre. At Laforet Namba South the 43 m² ground-floor room for 4 is ¥18,990 on a weekday night and ¥21,620 at the weekend, with a ¥6,500 cleaning fee. The 82 m² room for 6 to 8 on the second and third floors is ¥24,000 and ¥26,000, cleaning ¥11,500. The whole 125 m² house, base occupancy 10, is ¥33,000 and ¥37,000, cleaning ¥15,000. At La Forêt Hanazonocho the cheapest room is the 20 m² Luxury Double Suite at ¥8,990 on a weekday and ¥11,210 at the weekend, cleaning ¥8,000. The 96 m² Full House Package, with three bedrooms and three bathrooms, is ¥35,690 and ¥38,100, cleaning ¥15,000. The weekend rate follows the night you stay, so a Friday or Saturday night is charged at the weekend rate. These are the published rates. Check the booking page for the live quote.
An extra bed is ¥3,000 per person per night in every room type. At Namba South the ground-floor room takes a 5th guest on an extra bed, the upper floors a 7th and 8th, and the whole house an 11th and 12th. The minimum stay is 2 nights under Japan's special-zone minpaku rules, and 3 nights for the Full House Package at Hanazonocho. Namba South is the only one of the five houses that can take two separate groups on the same night. The ground-floor room for 4 and the 6 to 8 guest room on the second and third floors are separate booking types, each with its own bathroom, kitchen and washbasin. Two families who each want a floor of their own book it that way. Booking the whole house blocks both the ground floor and the upper floors, so no other group comes in.

Osaka Metro's official fare table lists Zone 1 (up to 3 km) at ¥190 for adults and ¥100 for children, and Hanazonocho to Namba falls inside that zone. The minutes to Namba are the by-car figures shown on our property pages; for train times, check the official Osaka Metro route search. The minimum stay is 2 nights at both houses, and 3 nights for the Full House Package at Hanazonocho. An extra bed is ¥3,000 per person per night, and a one-time cleaning fee of ¥6,500 to ¥15,000 applies per booking, depending on the room type.
This is the closest of the five houses to a station. A drugstore is 30 seconds out the door, a supermarket and a 100-yen shop 1 minute, Hanazonocho Station also 1 minute, and the shopping street 3 minutes. If you run out of toothpaste or want to buy breakfast, you do not need to take a train. The address is 1-1-9 Umeminami, Nishinari Ward, Osaka.
The three booking types are laid out differently. The 43 m² ground-floor room for 4 has 2 standard double beds, with its own bathroom, kitchen and washbasin, and a drum-type washer-dryer in the room. The 82 m² room for 6 to 8 on the second and third floors has 3 standard double beds, and base occupancy is 6, so a party of 6 pays no extra bed charge. That floor has a bathtub. Taken as one house it is 125 m² with 5 standard double beds, 2 bathrooms, 3 toilets and 2 washbasins, and the ground floor and the upper floors go to the same group. All three are non-smoking, with a full kitchen, a fridge, a microwave, a bidet toilet, free WiFi and air conditioning.
Drivers should settle parking first. There is no on-site parking, but a paid parking lot is right next door, so you can park beside the house.
Family Mart is 1 minute on foot, 7-Eleven is 2 minutes, and the LIFE supermarket, open until 24:00, is 3 minutes. At 4 minutes there is a McDonald's and an eel restaurant; at 5 minutes a drugstore, a 100-yen shop, an izakaya and a yakiniku place, so a late night out still ends with something to eat. Hanazonocho Station is a 6 minute walk and Tengachaya Station (Nankai Railway and Osaka Metro) is 15 minutes on foot, with a direct Nankai line from Tengachaya to Kansai International Airport. The address is 2-2-25 Umeminami, Nishinari Ward, Osaka.
By car our site lists about 4 minutes to Namba and Dotonbori, about 7 minutes to Shinsaibashi and the Glico running man, about 10 minutes to Nipponbashi and Shinsekai Tsutenkaku, about 12 minutes to Tennoji Zoo and the Harukas 300 observation deck, and about 30 minutes to Universal Studios Japan (USJ).
The four room types differ in size and facilities. The Luxury Double Suite is 20 m² with 2 standard single beds, its own bathroom and its own balcony, and the washing machine and drying space are on the balcony. The Spacious Suite is 28 m² with 2 standard double beds instead, and also has its own balcony. The Premium Suite is 48 m² with 2 standard double beds plus a sofa bed that opens out to a double, a living room, a kitchen with a 3-burner gas stove and a dining area; the bathtub and the drum-type washer-dryer are inside the room, base occupancy is 4 and extra beds take it to 6. The Full House Package is 96 m² with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, and the three suites are independent of each other. That is the highest bathroom count of the five houses, and the minimum stay is 3 nights. This house has no parking of its own either, so drivers should use one of the paid car parks around Hanazonocho Station.
A 1 minute walk from Hanazonocho Station. The 125 m² whole house sleeps 10 to 12, or book just the 43 m² ground-floor room for 4, or the 82 m² room for 6 to 8 on the second and third floors. The ground floor and the upper floors can go to two separate groups on the same night.
A 6 minute walk from Hanazonocho Station. Four room types, from the 20 m² Luxury Double Suite for 2 to the 96 m² Full House Package with three bedrooms and three bathrooms, with a washer-dryer, a bathtub and a fitted kitchen. The Full House Package has a 3 night minimum.
Both houses are self check-in, with no front desk on site. At 10:00 on the day of arrival we send the location, the guest registration form and the front-door keypad code by LINE or email, then the key-box code at 16:00. Namba South has two key boxes, one for the ground floor and one for the upper floors, and whole-house guests receive both codes. Put the keys back in the key box when you check out. Check-in is from 16:00 and check-out is by 11:00. Ask customer service first if you want to check in early or check out late. Staff answer in Chinese, Japanese, English and Korean through each house's official LINE account.
Both houses are registered under Japanese law. La Forêt Hanazonocho holds a National Strategic Special Zone lodging certification (tokku minpaku), City of Osaka order 大保環第24-3197号. Laforet Namba South holds the same special-zone certification, 大保環第26-2518号. The City of Osaka is the certifying authority for both. All five numbers are listed on Operator and legal registration.
One stop further south is Tengachaya. Mientsuki no Mori (a 7 minute walk from Tengachaya Station, 2 to 12 guests, room types Forest Swan and Arashi Moon) and Yamayakyo (a 9 minute walk, up to 10 guests) are in that area, and both have free parking; see the Tengachaya Area Stay Guide. To weigh up all five, see the five-house comparison table. For payment and date-change rules, see Booking.
Yes. Laforet Namba South is a 1 minute walk from Hanazonocho Station on the Osaka Metro Yotsubashi Line and sleeps 4 to 12, in three booking types: the 43 m² ground-floor room for 4, the 82 m² room for 6 to 8 on the second and third floors, and the whole 125 m² house. La Forêt Hanazonocho is a 6 minute walk from the same station and sleeps 2 to 12, in four room types, from the 20 m² Luxury Double Suite to the 96 m² Full House Package with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Both are rented by the whole house or the whole floor, so you never share with strangers. At Namba South the ground floor and the upper floors are separate booking types and can go to two groups on the same night, and booking the whole house blocks both. The minimum stay is 2 nights under Japan's special-zone minpaku rules, and 3 nights for the Full House Package at Hanazonocho. An extra bed is ¥3,000 per person per night and a cleaning fee applies per booking. Check the booking page for the live quote.
Take the Osaka Metro Yotsubashi Line towards Nishi-Umeda. Hanazonocho (Y17) and Namba (Y15) are separated by one stop, Daikokucho (Y16); coming back, take the opposite direction from Namba for one stop. Osaka Metro's official fare table lists Zone 1 (up to 3 km) at ¥190 for adults and ¥100 for children, and Hanazonocho to Namba falls inside that zone. The by-car figures on our site are about 4 minutes to Namba and Dotonbori, about 7 minutes to Shinsaibashi, about 10 minutes to Nipponbashi and Shinsekai Tsutenkaku, about 12 minutes to Tennoji Zoo and Harukas 300, and about 30 minutes to Universal Studios Japan. For actual train times and last trains, check the official Osaka Metro route search.
Take Nankai Electric Railway from Kansai International Airport to Namba or Tengachaya, then change to the Yotsubashi Line for Hanazonocho Station. That is one change on the way. The Nankai site lists the Rapi:t limited express at about 38 minutes to Namba and about 34 minutes to Tengachaya, and the airport express at about 44 and about 39 minutes. Rapi:t needs a limited express ticket on top of the base fare, at ¥700 for an adult and ¥350 for a child in a regular seat. The Rapi:t digital ticket on the Nankai site covers both and costs ¥1,410 for an adult and ¥710 for a child in a regular seat; buying the limited express ticket on board costs ¥300 more. From Hanazonocho Station it is 1 minute on foot to Laforet Namba South and 6 minutes to La Forêt Hanazonocho, so you are not pulling bags far. The routes are set out in the Kansai Airport Access Guide. From 11:00 on your check-in day you can leave luggage in the entrance area. Please keep valuables with you; we cannot take responsibility for items left there.
